in the studio: mixing ink

Here at Bluebonnet Press we hand mix all of our inks. With the 13 base colors and a pantone mixing guide, any color of the rainbow is possible! From the design, to the paper, to the ink color our projects are all custom. We can match the ink color of your invitations to your table linens, bride's maids dresses, or antique brooch from your grandmother; the possibilities are endless. Every time I mix a color for a new printing project I get so excited, because that's when it really starts to take shape - there's nothing quite like inking up the press. :)
