easter approaching

As we approach Easter this week, I am trying to be intentional about slowing down and preparing my heart for Sunday. It's so easy to get caught up in all the pretty, superficial things that come along with Easter. Although these things are fun, I certainly don't want them to be my focus.

Listen! We are going up to Jerusalem. The Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn Him to death. Then they will hand Him over to the Gentiles to be mocked, flogged, and crucified, and He will be resurrected on the third day.
